Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player in music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017. Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he joined forces with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia, released in 2020 by Noriel and his Dopamina album in the same year. In 2021 he recorded an duet with TINI's popular single Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo comes from a musical background, both his mother and elder brother are also musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. In his childhood he was instructed to play the piano, guitar and ukulele. Despite initially wanting to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban singing teacher would change the direction of his profession.
